Talk Homework (19/10/12)

Dear Parents,

This week your child’s Talk homework is to retell the class version of Nail Soup, Paperclip Soup, use our actions to help.  Remember the new characters, Old Lady, Farmer, Grandad Gary & the food, 1 mushroom, 2 tomatoes, some peas, beef, salt & pepper.

Please chat to your child on this topic and others surrounding  it. This will help support their writing on Friday

If possible, could the T.V be turned off while the discussion is taking place!

What could you do?
- Research puppets on the internet.
- Print out pictures of puppets
found on the web.
- Research puppets at the library.
- Have a go at designing/drawing your
own puppet.
- Write a Punch and Judy play-script.
- Research what different materials
are used when making puppets and
how they are made.
- Describe your experience, if you’ve
ever seen a puppet show.
- Research any famous or historical
puppets/puppet shows.
- Anything else you find out about
puppets.
